Administration
Mandy Allen, Principal
My name is Mandy Allen. This will be my third year in Ferris ISD, but my first year serving in the role of Principal at Hazel Ingram Elementary. For the past two years I have been the assistant principal. Before coming to Ferris ISD I was in Waxahachie where I taught for 12 years. I have experience teaching first grade and intervention for grades K-5. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M Commerce and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. My husband and I have been married for 14 years. We have two beautiful girls Addison (11) and Annabelle (6). In my free time I enjoy being outside hiking, reading, running and playing with my kids.
At a young age I realized education would be my chosen profession. I had some of the most wonderful experiences in elementary school. Many of my teachers taught with such passion and heart and focused on not only teaching academics, but instilling positive character traits in us as well. My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow academically, physically, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere here at Hazel Ingram where students can meet their full potential.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns as they arise.

Whittney Trevino, Assistant Principal
My name is Whiitney Trevino. I am so excited to be your new assistant principal this year. This will be my first year here in Ferris and I cannot wait to get to know everyone. I have taught in Cedar Hill for 2 years, Waxahachie for 6 years, and last year I was an Instructional Coach in Ennis. I received my bachelors degree in 2012 in Early Childhood Education and I received my Masters in Teacher Leadership in 2015. I have been married for 16 years and we have 2 daughters. In my free time, I love to go to the beach, watch movies, and just relax.
I strongly believe that teaching and leading is a passion of mine. My vision for this year will be to instill a love of learning in the students and faculty here at Hazel Ingram Elementary. I am so excited to help build a positive culture and climate for our campus and build positive, lasting relationships.
