As the principal of Hazel Ingram Elementary, I would like to welcome you to our website. This website has been designed in the hopes that it will become a valuable resource for you by providing school news, upcoming events, and other important information that will help us become your partner in learning, as your Little Jackets begin their educational journey. 

Here at Hazel Ingram, our staff knows we play a pivotal role in your students' lives. Our goal is to create an exciting learning environment where all students gain the foundational skills they need through fun hands-on activities, movement, outdoor learning, and dramatic play in a caring and safe atmosphere. In addition to academics, Hazel Ingram also focuses on social and emotional learning. We will give our Little Jackets the tools they need to develop healthy identities, build friendships, manage emotions, and make responsible and caring decisions. With gentle care we will challenge, support, and love your little one.   

We believe parental involvement in school life is essential. The success of our school and your children is built upon the partnership between students, parents, and teachers. Children need to know that there is a strong connection between school and home, and we are working together to ensure their academic and social & emotional growth. We are committed to providing opportunities for the community and families to work alongside us in partnership. Early involvement in your child's education and our school will not only benefit your child but also strengthen our Yellowjacket community.
